Since 1980, we have reached out to seven million students in Northern California, teaching them to care for living
things and to understand the natural systems on which all life depends. Our school assembly programs have gained
national recognition for educational excellence.
Animals as Teachers
By bringing live animals into schools, along with our proven ability to teach and guide students to develop their own relationships within the world of living things, we create a comprehensive and compelling educational experience unmatched by books, video, television or any other medium. Our programs help students learn respect
and responsibility for ecological systems in a way they can relate to, regardless of their age.
An Expert Staff that Cares
One of our most outstanding attributes is the experience of our staff. They are not merely presenters but are trained in the art and science of teaching. Committed to an integrated, energetic approach
to nurturing students, they offer a sense of caring, warmth, and enthusiasm to which students respond openly.

Non-Profit Organization
All proceeds go directly towards the cost of caring for our animals and providing over 1,000 of these educational
programs yearly to the schools of Northern California. The program fee alone does not cover our costs. Grants, private
and corporate donations fill the gap and make it possible for us to continue our mission of educating today's students
for tomorrow's future.
We are a federally approved 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent
of the law.

"The wildlife assembly today was the best we have had in the five years I have been here, it was fast moving enough, informative without being 'over their heads.' The speaker really knew what to say to have the children oooh and aaah! She knew how to include the audience with questions, but yet knew how to time it appropriately. She also had great audience control! Superb!"
