Liberty, a two-year-old bald eagle, while soaring in the Oregon sky, was shot in the wing and is no longer able to fly. Now living in our sanctuary, Liberty is our responsibility for the next forty years as we honor, respect, and enrich his life.

As one of our wild teachers, he serves as a reminder that we all need to take responsibility for our environment and each other, and do our part to live in balance with the wild animals with whom we share this beautiful world.

Reaching tens of thousands of children each year with their message, our wild teachers inspire empathy for all life. But it is your support that makes it possible.

Your generous, tax-deductible year-end donation helps us provide our inspirational wildlife science programs in over 300 schools, transformational at-risk youth programs for over 140 youth, and peaceful sanctuary for over 50 non-releasable wild animals.

our commitment

Wildlife Associates takes most seriously our responsibility to make the best possible use of funding.

Donors are invited to witness our educational programs, learn more about our sanctuary facility, and meet with the staff.

We deeply respect the trust that donors place in us and work to earn that trust each day.

giving designations

Your gift will support everything we do at Wildlife Associates unless you specify another giving category.

General Operations

A gift to the general operations fund supports everything we do for animals and children. Your gift will support animal care, veterinarian costs, animal enrichment activities, and facility maintenance. Your gift will also support all of the educational programs we provide for young people.

School Assembly Educational Programs

Our nationally acclaimed school assembly programs reach hundreds of thousands of children each year all throughout the Bay Area. Your gift supports these effective educational programs, the students, and their teachers.

Wildlife Sanctuary

The wonderful animals at our sanctuary deserve the highest quality care we can provide. Your gift will support animal care, veterinarian costs, animal enrichment activities, and facility maintenance.

At-risk and foster-Youth Programs

Wildlife Associates partners with individual schools, as well as foster-youth organizations, to provide unique and life-changing experiences for at-risk youth. Your gift helps us make a genuine difference in the lives of these terrific young people.

Teacher Workshops

Your gift supports our professional development workshops for teachers who want to improve how they teach science to their students. In partnership with local universities, Wildlife Associates has created a unique and effective science curriculum that brings science alive.

sponsor a child, an animal, or a whole school

At-Risk and foster Youth

A gift of $1,000 will sponsor a child for one year in our at-risk or foster-youth programs. These amazing educational programs touch the hearts and lives of these worthy children. Please consider sponsoring multiple children. And, until November 1st, 2013, a donor has made a challenge grant of $15,000. Every designated contribution you make between now and then will help us double your donation.

Sanctuary Animals

Sponsor one of our wonderful non-releasable animals who live at our sanctuary. Your $1,000 donation pays for a year of feeding one of these remarkable wild animals.

School Assemblies

Sponsor a school of your choice or let us select a school that we know can’t afford a science assembly with a gift of $1,000. We will bring our Wild Teachers to the school and provide an educational experience that the children will remember for years.

Please join Wildlife Associates by making a generous donation today!
